Essure Study Could Take Seven Years News Report

Could it take seven years from September 2016 to finish the study on Essure birth control implants?

According to the FDA, the final report is not due until 2023.

Mike Fitzpatrick, a congressman from Pennsylvania, along with six other members, is spearheading a request with Congress for a hearing on Bayer's Essure device.

The device was first approved for Essure on November 4th, 2002.
